Registered Nurse / Telemetry

Job Summary:
The Arlington Heights, Illinois, healthcare provider is seeking a Telemetry (TELE) nurse for a day shift. This role involves providing patient care in a Med/Surg setting, with the opportunity to work a 12-hour day schedule. The position requires strong charting skills and experience in medical-surgical nursing, with preference given to candidates with a telemetry background.

Job Details:

• Position: Telemetry (TELE) Nurse
• Location: Arlington Heights, Illinois
• Schedule: 12-hour Day shifts, from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Illinois Nursing License, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), 2+ years of experience in Medical-Surgical nursing with demonstrated proficiency in EPIC charting; telemetry experience preferred
• Preferred Qualifications: Telemetry background in Medical-Surgical units, experience with EPIC charting systems
• Additional Information: The candidate must submit an updated resume, skills checklist completed within the past 12 months, one reference completed within the past 12 months, verification of Illinois license, and a passing EKG test score of 80% or higher. Orientation will be held on Wednesdays, requiring 12 hours of pre-hire training. The start date is 08/09/2026. Flexibility to float to other Medical-Surgical units may be required as needed. Weekend work is scheduled every other weekend. No on-call or holiday coverage is required.
