Operating Room Tech / Operating Room (First Assistant)

Job Summary:
The organization is seeking an Operating Room (First Assistant) professional for a position located in Derry, New Hampshire. This role involves supporting surgical procedures within a hospital setting, utilizing advanced robotic equipment, and providing general, orthopedic, ENT, urology, and breast surgeries. The position offers a consistent schedule with daily shifts and weekend call responsibilities.

• Shift Details: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Start Date: 08/24/2026
• Required Qualifications:
  • Certifications: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
  • Education: Must have an active compact license at submission
  • Experience: 2 years of hospital setting experience required
  • Additional Certifications: BLS, NH Medical Technologist license
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Robotic surgical experience, spine procedure experience
• Unit Specifics:
  • Number of beds: 4
  • Patient ratios: dependent on procedure
  • Equipment: Davinci Xi Robot, Globus Robot
  • Documentation system: Expanse
  • Scheduling requirements: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM, four days per week
  • Call every 4th weekend, two times per week
  • No float rotation policy
  • No specified patient experience requirements
• Additional Information:
  • The position involves supporting general, orthopedic, ENT, urology, and breast procedures
  • Must demonstrate advanced robotic skills and spine experience
  • Candidates should be aware of unit policies and guidelines prior to starting
