Registered Nurse / House Supervisor Level 1

Job Summary:
This is a Nursing Supervisor (House Supervisor Level 1) position located in Wichita, Kansas. The role involves overseeing hospital operations during night shifts, responding to emergency situations, managing patient throughput, and providing operational leadership across multiple units. The candidate will serve as a clinical and operational resource to staff and ensure safe, quality patient care during night hours.

Job Details:

• Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, Bachelor`s degree in Nursing or higher, minimum of 0 years of experience, scheduled to start on 08/16/2026
• Position Responsibilities: Respond to all rapid responses, code blue events, and other emergencies. Oversee hospital capacity management and patient throughput to optimize patient flow. Monitor and coordinate staffing levels every four hours to ensure safe patient care. Address and resolve patient and family concerns, escalating issues as appropriate. Escalate operational, clinical, and safety concerns to leadership. Conduct routine leadership rounds on all units, provide support, and promote quality care. Serve as a clinical and operational resource for staff. Maintain an off-hours leadership presence to support hospital operations, staff, patients, and physicians.
• Location: The role involves floating between two campuses and respective units, with assignments at the following address: 929 N. St. Francis, Wichita, Kansas, 67214.
