Registered Nurse / Operating Room Open Heart

Job Summary:
Operating Room Open Heart Nurse position available in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. This role involves providing specialized surgical care for patients undergoing open heart procedures within a hospital setting. The nurse will support cardiovascular surgeries, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and delivering quality patient care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shift with start time at 6:00 AM and end time at 2:30 PM; minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) experience required, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, and 0 years of experience minimum.
• Required Qualifications: Valid license to practice in Illinois with at least 0 years of experience in cardiovascular or operating room nursing, certification in ACLS, and CVOR experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience working in a CVOR environment is preferred.
• Additional Information: Call is required consisting of five 16-hour weekday shifts and two full weekends (48 hours) every four weeks. The role demands adherence to facility SOPs and a thorough understanding of cardiovascular surgical procedures.
