Job Summary
Operating Room Open Heart (OR OH) Tulsa, Oklahoma. This position involves providing specialized cardiovascular surgical care in a high-acuity, interdisciplinary environment. The role requires confidence and current expertise in heart and vascular surgery procedures, supporting a team operating several complex cases daily.

Job Details

• Schedule: 10-hour shifts, Days, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Oklahoma RN license or Compact RN license, 1 year of experience in operating room open heart procedures, NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting) or NCCT (National Center for Competency Testing) certification in hand, and at least 1 year of relevant clinical experience.
• Certifications: NBSTSA or NCCT certification required in hand.
• Experience: 1 year of experience in operating room open heart procedures.
• Unit Details: Open Hearts, Vascular procedures, Robotic surgeries, including all cardiac procedures except transplants, ECMO, Impella, TAVR.
• Patient Age Groups: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics.
• Daily Census: Approximately 6 cases.
• Shift Time: 10 hours per shift, Days.
• Call: 1-2 weekends per month and 1-2 weekdays per week.
• Orientation Hours: 36 hours, completed onsite during orientation.
• Floating: Travel staff will be expected to float to similar units as needed within scope, with brief orientation provided.
• Additional Information: The position involves high-acuity cardiovascular surgery, supporting a fast-paced environment with specialized equipment and procedures.
