Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse (RN) position in Tallahassee, Florida. This role involves providing specialized care in the Labor and Delivery Department, with a focus on maternal and neonatal health. The position requires floating to Family Care units as needed, including Mother/Baby, NICU, or PICU, and offers a dynamic clinical environment for experienced RNs.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid FL or Compact State licensed Registered Nurse (RN) license; a minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery; EPIC electronic medical record experience; certifications including AHA-BLS, AHA-ACLS, NRP, AWHONN-Advanced Fetal Monitoring; strong ECG interpretation and immediate newborn care skills; competent in circulating and recovering C-sections.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in LDRP or Mother/Baby units, prior travel experience.
  • Additional Information: Orientation is scheduled every Monday. EPIC training will be conducted during the second half of the day at orientation, with testing opportunities; completion of full training may be required if testing is not passed. Floating to Family Care units, NICU, or PICU may be necessary; the role includes weekend shifts (three every four weeks) and an additional call shift per schedule.
