Registered Nurse / Oncology Clinic

Job Summary:
A registered nurse specializing in Oncology Clinic care is sought for a facility located in St. Louis, Missouri. The position involves providing comprehensive patient care within an oncology outpatient setting. The role requires a dedicated team player capable of adapting to a fast-paced environment, with responsibilities including medication administration, EMR documentation, and physical assessments.

Job Details:

• Position: Registered Nurse (RN) in Oncology Clinic
• Location: St. Louis, MO
• Facility Department/Cost Center: 154406080
• Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Number of Openings: 1
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current RN license (eligible for licensure in Missouri or licensed in Missouri), BLS certification from AHA, minimum of 1 year inpatient oncology experience, proficiency with EMR documentation, medication administration, and physical assessments.
• Preferred Qualifications: Oncology certification from ONCC or similar is a plus.
• Float Requirements: float rotation may be required to any unit within the med/surg service line.
• Additional Information: The nurse will utilize the nursing process in delivering patient care, monitor calibrator equipment, and coordinate with ancillary departments to optimize patient outcomes. Efforts must be consistent with the facility`s mission, values, and care standards. Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, stooping, and patient handling, with exposure to blood and body fluids.
