Job Summary:
The Labor and Delivery department in Michigan is seeking a qualified Nurse specializing in Obstetrics to join the healthcare provider`s team. This role involves collaborating with physicians to develop and implement care plans that promote patient recovery. The position includes providing bedside nursing care, executing medical orders, and supervising various nursing support functions. The selected candidate will evaluate the effectiveness of the care plan and contribute to positive patient outcomes.

Job Details:

  • Location: Mount Pleasant, Michigan
  • Position: Obstetrics Nurse - Labor and Delivery Department
  • Schedule: Nights shift; 12 hours per shift; minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Start Date: 08/17/2026
  • Required Qualifications:
    • 2+ years of OB (Obstetrics) experience
    • Current AWHONN (Association of Womens Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses) certification within the last two years
    • Valid state licenses for Michigan
    • Certifications include NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), BLS (AHA - American Heart Association), ACLS (AHA)
  • Additional Information:
    • The role requires working weekends, holidays, and on-call as needed.
    • The position demands collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient care.
    • Candidates should demonstrate strong clinical skills and experience in labor and delivery nursing.
