Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical Floor

Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse in North Carolina. This position involves providing high-quality clinical nursing care within a hospital setting, utilizing the nursing process to meet patient needs. The role emphasizes patient assessment, care planning, implementation, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to promote positive health outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 48 hours per week, starting 08/17/2026
• Required Qualifications: Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN or ASN) from an accredited school of Nursing; Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina; Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification (AHA or ARC); minimum of 2 years current Intermediate (Step Down) or equivalent experience working with intermediate care patients.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited school of Nursing.
• Additional Information: Candidates will be expected to demonstrate competence in caring for patients with complex problems, participate in education programs, collaborate with the healthcare team, and promote a safe hospital environment. The position is part of a float pool, requiring flexibility to work across different units within the hospital.
