Registered Nurse / Operating Room Open Heart

Job Summary:
The operating room registered nurse specializing in open heart procedures in Denver, Colorado, supports surgical teams by performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, alongside providing health teaching and counseling to promote positive health outcomes. The nurse will execute medical functions as delegated, monitor treatment plans, document findings, and utilize resources effectively. Flexibility to float to other departments within scope and qualifications, as well as on-call responsibilities, may be required.

Job Details:

• Location: Denver, Colorado
• Schedule: Day shifts with 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Certifications & Licensure: Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice, BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Education: Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (ASN required); Bachelors degree in Nursing preferred
• Experience: Minimum of 0 years of experience (entry level acceptable)
