Registered Nurse / Labor And Delivery Department

Job Summary:
This Labor and Delivery (L&D) clinical nurse position is based in GOLDSBORO, North Carolina. The role involves providing competent nursing care in a hospital setting, focusing on patients within the labor and delivery department. The selected candidate will coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process, ensuring safe and effective outcomes for mothers and newborns.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 48 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of Nursing; current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification; at least 1 year of nursing experience; ability to circulate for C-sections; ability to triage for OB.
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
• Additional Information: Local rate of $71; 5 years labor and delivery experience highly preferred; Epic experience required; will review block schedule requests and 36-hour contracts; skills include point of care testing, OB triage, and C-section circulation.
