Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical Floor

Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical (MS) at a healthcare facility in Wheatland, Wyoming. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients on a medical-surgical floor. The position requires delivering safe, effective, and patient-centered care in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Job Details

• Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts
• Schedule: Night shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice or a valid RN license for the applicable state or jurisdiction. BLS certification is required. Experience in a clinical setting applicable to the specialty is valued; a minimum of one year of acute care experience is preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor`s degree in Nursing is preferred. Additional certifications and relevant experience may enhance candidacy.
• Additional Information: The RN will be responsible for comprehensive patient assessments, developing and executing individualized care plans, and collaborating within a multidisciplinary team. They will provide ongoing patient education, document all clinical activities accurately, and participate in quality improvement initiatives. The role involves direct patient care, delegation, supervision, and interaction with patients, families, healthcare team members, and external contacts to ensure high-quality nursing services. Physical demands include the ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 75 pounds as necessary, with proper body mechanics and safety precautions.
