Job Summary
The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) specialty position is based in Anchorage, Alaska. This role involves providing radiology nursing or technologist services within the cath lab environment. The position requires a 12-hour shift schedule, with a start date of 08/24/2026, and is designated for a full-time schedule with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Job Details
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid Alaska RN license or RCIS/ARRT certification, BLS and ACLS certifications, and a minimum of 0 years of experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in at least 3 of the following service lines: EP (Electrophysiology), IR (Interventional Radiology), Neurology, Vascular, Cardiac. Candidates with experience in 4 or more areas will be prioritized.
- Unit Information: The cath lab comprises three Philips labs with a total staff of 20, including day shift teams operating Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM and night/weekend on-call teams. Equipment includes Philips c-arms, Merge Vericis for hemo system, and EMR Epic.
- Typical Procedures: The lab performs procedures across all service lines, including EP, IR, Neuro, Vascular, and Cardiac.
- Personality Fit: Flexible, self-starter, capable of following directions.
- Dress Code: Scrubs (provided by the organization).
- Unit Policies: Orientation provided within the department; rotation of on-call duties during weekends.
