Job Summary
Interventional Radiology Nurse Hermiston, OR. This position involves providing specialized nursing care to patients undergoing invasive radiology procedures such as angiography, embolization, and cardiac catheterization. The role requires collaboration with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care and safety. The nurse may be on call as needed and is responsible for supervision of assigned personnel.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. Evidence of continuing education appropriate for skill level and area of practice. Required: At least one year of experience in critical care, emergency, cath lab, or interventional radiology. Required: Current RN license in the State of Oregon; current BLS, ACLS certifications; IV certification.
  • Preferred Qualifications: At least three years of experience in Interventional Radiology or Cath Lab; conscious sedation training; monitor role experience; bilingual and/or English-Spanish speaking abilities.
  • Additional Information: The position involves assisting with patient preparation, procedural support, monitoring, and department support activities, including managing supplies and room turnover. The role requires familiarity with vascular anatomy, device sizing, catheter selection, and adhering to sterile techniques. Periodic on-call duty may be required.
