Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) Coos Bay, Oregon. This position involves managing obstetric care across triage, outpatient testing, antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and nursery settings within the facility. The RN will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, apply nursing processes, and document patient care using OBIX for fetal surveillance and EPIC electronic health records. Experience with these systems is highly preferred.
Job Details
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shift hours, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid Oregon State nursing license, at least 2 years of recent labor and delivery experience with current fetal heart monitoring, certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP). Talent must be willing to obtain certifications if not currently active.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with OBIX and EPIC systems, Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM), and STABLE certifications.
- Additional Information: The position requires teaching patients, documenting care, and collaborating effectively with the healthcare team to ensure quality obstetric services. The start date is 08/25/2026.
