Registered Nurse / Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nurse - Albuquerque, NM. This role involves providing specialized care for neonates in a busy NICU environment. The selected candidate will work nights and be responsible for implementing advanced neonatal nursing skills to support high-risk newborns.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 48 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: 0+ years of experience in neonatal or pediatric nursing, appropriate certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), current licensure, and physical ability to perform duties.
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous travel nursing experience and familiarity with Epic charting systems are advantageous.
- Additional Information:
- The position requires float rotation as needed within similar units within scope.
- The role involves managing patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:4 and supporting high-acuity neonatal patients.
- Candidates must be able to work within interdisciplinary teams including respiratory services, social services, pharmacy, and interpretation services.
- Orientation hours total 24. Candidates are expected to start labs within 48 business hours after contract signing.
