Registered Nurse / Telemetry

Job Summary:
Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Thornton, Colorado. This role involves providing patient care on a telemetry unit, including neurovascular checks, orthopedic precautions, and managing various trauma and medical patients. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and a teamwork-oriented mindset to contribute effectively to a collaborative environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid license to practice as an RN, minimum of 1 year of current acute care telemetry RN experience, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• Preferred Qualifications: NIH (National Institutes of Health) Certification, trauma/orthopedic experience, neuro/stroke experience
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: The unit has 18 beds, with staff experienced in trauma and orthopedic injuries, including blunt force trauma, poly trauma, spinal cord injuries, gunshot wounds, stabbings, and standard telemetry patients such as chest pain, stroke workups, and chronic cardiac conditions.
