Registered Nurse / Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nurse position in Austin, Texas. This contract role involves providing specialized care to neonatal patients in a dedicated unit. The assignment offers an opportunity to work with a well-staffed team in a fast-paced environment focused on delivering high-quality neonatal care.

Job Details:

• Shift: Days, 12-hour shift hours, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, minimum 2 years of experience in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Level 3 NICU, familiarity with NICU procedures, friendly and compassionate personality, team-oriented mindset
• Additional Information: This role requires candidates to have a minimum of 0 years of experience, with a preference for those with at least 2 years. The unit primarily employs registered nurses (RNs) and support staff to ensure optimal patient care. The environment emphasizes professionalism with navy scrubs and a strict dress code. Staff support technology includes medfusion pumps, Alaris infusion pumps, GE monitors, and giraffe ischemette devices.
