Registered Nurse / Intensive Care Unit

Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a qualified Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse for a facility located in Arlington Heights, Illinois. This role involves providing high-acuity patient care in a 36-bed ICU unit, which includes neuro, cardiac, and medical-surgical patients. Job Details:

• Position: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse
• Location: Arlington Heights, Illinois
• Shift Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Start Date: August 9, 2026
• Required Qualifications: IL licensure, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certification, 2+ years of ICU experience with EPIC charting proficiency, and a valid IL license.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with neuro, cardiac, and medical-surgical ICU settings.
• Float: As needed
• Weekend Requirements: As needed
• On-Call Requirements: None
• Holiday Requirements: As needed
• Notes: The ICU consists of 36 beds, including neuro, cardiac, and medical-surgical units. Nurse to patient ratio is typically 1:2 or 2-3 depending on patient acuity.
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
• Additional Information: Candidates must submit an updated resume, Skills Checklist completed within 12 months, one reference completed within 12 months, and IL license verification. Orientation occurs on Wednesdays and Thursdays, with orientation hours totaling 6 hours, with pay applicable for this time. Credentials are due the Thursday prior to start date.
