Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical Floor

Job Summary:
The Massachusetts-based ambulatory urology practice is seeking a Medical Surgical Urology/Renal Nurse for a full-time position. The role involves administering medications and treatments, managing patient communication via telephone, performing instillations, and providing pre- and post-procedure education to urology patients in an outpatient setting. This position offers day shifts with typical office hours.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shifts, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Associates in nursing (minimum), Bachelor`s degree in nursing (preferred), at least 2 years of acute care experience, experience with catheters and drains preferred, urology or chemotherapy/oncology experience preferred. Ambulatory, emergency department, or procedural experience is advantageous. Phone triage or walk-in triage experience is a plus. Must have ambulatory clinic experience, phone triage skills, a minimum of 1 year of acute care/inpatient experience, and be comfortable with catheters and catheterizations.
• Preferred Qualifications: Urology experience in ambulatory or acute care settings.
• Additional Information: The candidate will work in an outpatient urology setting performing patient care and education tasks consistent with the roles requirements.
