Registered Nurse / Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Emergency Room (ER) at Meriden, CT. This position involves providing high-quality emergency care in a busy environment, with a schedule of every other weekend and holiday, and 36 hours per week on night shifts. The role requires recent ER experience, EPIC electronic health record system proficiency in the past six months, and certifications in Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS).

Job Details:

• Location: Meriden, CT
• Schedule: Nights; 12-hour shift; minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: 2 years of ER experience, EPIC experience within the past 6 months, current certifications in TNCC and NIHSS, must have experience in an emergency department with over 150 patient visits per day, and meet the education and certification requirements for registered nursing practice.

• Float: Float rotation may not be required
• Additional Information: The position includes responsibilities for providing urgent and emergent care, adhering to department protocols, and maintaining patient safety and comfort.
