Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical With Telemetry

Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) nurse position in Portland, Oregon. This role involves providing care within a short term acute care facility, primarily during night shifts. The position offers floating between units, with expectations to work every other weekend, and requires the ability to manage patients in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights; 12 hours shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: 2 years of experience, certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), valid Oregon license, at least 1 year of clinical experience, experience handling medical-surgical and telemetry patients, proficiency with Epic charting system, and a valid state license with a compact endorsement if applicable.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in a short term acute care setting and with patient populations including adults and geriatrics.
• Float: Float to other units based on skill set, including multiple medical-surgical units and telemetry.
• Additional Information: Must have a vehicle for this assignment. Candidates are expected to work 3 of the 5 designated holidays, with all scheduling requests to be made upfront during submission. Candidates should not reach out directly to facility contacts unless coordinated beforehand.
