Job Summary
Electrophysiology Registered Nurse (RN) Seattle, WA. This is a 13-week contract position at a heart and vascular clinic, primarily focused on electrophysiology procedures and patient engagement. The role requires coordinated care for patients undergoing complex cardiac interventions, with responsibilities including patient education and clinical support within a specialized EP laboratory setting.

Job Details

  • Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 0830-1700, minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Licensure as an RN with at least 2 years of experience working in an Electrophysiology (EP) Laboratory; experience with charting system EPIC required; valid WA or Compact RN license; certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with GLP-1 therapies in atrial fibrillation management; experience in risk factor modification clinics or device clinics; strong patient education skills, especially around lifestyle and medication adherence; knowledge of quality improvement initiatives.
  • Additional Information: The role involves procedures such as pacemaker/defibrillator lead extraction and removal, arrhythmia induction, cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, cardioversion, conduction studies, and insertion/programming of AICDs. Candidates should be comfortable with antiarrhythmics, antihypertensives, and thrombolytics. The facility employs EPIC for charting and provides interpretive services, phlebotomy, and a unit secretary.
