Registered Nurse / Intensive Care Unit

Job Summary:

The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Pleasanton, California. This role involves providing expert, evidence-based care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced hospital environment. The RN collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to monitor, assess, and implement patient care plans, ensuring safety, compliance, and optimal recovery outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: California Registered Nurse (RN) license; current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university preferred; ability to communicate effectively in English; no minimum years of experience required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in an Intensive Care Unit or critical care setting.
• Additional Information: The role requires a professional committed to lifelong learning, with responsibilities including patient assessment, care planning, emergency response activation, patient education, and team collaboration. The RN will contribute to team development, utilize hospital technology for documentation and communication, and ensure adherence to all safety and compliance standards.
