Operating Room Tech / Operating Room Open Heart

Job Summary:
The Operating Room (OR) Open Heart position is located in Rockford, Illinois. This role involves working in a specialized surgical environment focused on open heart procedures. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing proficient surgical assistance, adhering to facility protocols, and functioning independently in scrub roles within a dynamic cardiovascular surgical team.

Job Details:

• Specialty: Operating Room Open Heart
• Shift: Days, 10 hours per shift, from 06:30 to 17:00, with rotational call coverage including one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) for 24-hour call shifts.
• Schedule: 10-hour days, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited program for surgical technologists; ability to verify certification; must have 2 years of experience in a similar setting; no local candidates within 50 miles.
• Additional Information: Must be proficient in cardiovascular procedures and capable of scrub independently. No additional clinical or operational details are available for this position.
