Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) registered nurse position in Tucson, Arizona. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for neonatal patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional standards. The nurse is accountable for delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to support the health and development of newborns in the NICU setting.

Job Details:

  • Location: Tucson, Arizona
  • Position: Registered Nurse Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
  • Schedule: Days shift; 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice, BLS certification is required. Relevant clinical experience in neonatal or pediatric care is preferred, with a minimum of one year experience in an acute care hospital setting within the past twelve months.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor`s degree in nursing is preferred. Professional certification related to neonatal or pediatric intensive care is also preferred.
  • Additional Information: The nurse will perform all functions according to established policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements, as well as professional standards. This role involves direct patient care, collaboration with multidisciplinary team members, and documentation in accordance with organizational policies.
