Registered Nurse / Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Emergency Room (ER) in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The position involves providing high-quality emergency care in a busy, state-designated Level III Trauma Center and Level II Stroke Center. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Location: Tuscaloosa, Alabama
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week; flexibility for 36 or 48 hours per week, including holidays and every other weekend
• Required Qualifications: Associate degree in nursing; current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama or a Compact state (no temporary licenses accepted); certifications in American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and on-site TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) credential; a minimum of 18 months to 2 years of recent emergency nursing experience working under a professional license

• Additional Information: Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals; parking is available; one position available; position is a contractor replacement; rotation includes working holidays and every other weekend
