Registered Nurse / Operating Room

Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse in Mesa, Arizona. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients in the surgical environment. The position emphasizes delivering high-quality patient care through specialized knowledge, clinical judgment, and collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure safety and positive outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift with 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid registered nurse (RN) license in the state of Arizona or a valid compact license; BLS certification required; minimum of 1 year of recent clinical experience in an acute care hospital setting, including operative or surgical experience within the past 12 months.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in nursing; professional certification related to perioperative or surgical nursing preferred.
• Additional Information: The RN will be responsible for patient assessment, care planning, intraoperative assistance, post-operative care, and documentation. Candidates must demonstrate clinical competencies appropriate to the OR environment and adhere to all safety and regulatory standards. The role may include supervision of licensed and non-licensed personnel and active participation in continuous improvement activities.
