Job Summary

Job Details

• Position: Emergency Room Nurse (ER)
• Location: Alexandria, Virginia
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, starting from 08/24/2026, with flexibility to work both 3p-3a and 7a-7p shifts, including every other weekend. May be required to float to Springfield Healthplex location.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS; at least 2 years of ER experience; experience with both adult and pediatric patients; ability to manage routine vasopressors, insulin, and sedation; familiarity with common diagnoses such as STEMI, stroke, sprains, and sutures.
• Preferred Qualifications: TNCC certification.
• Shift Expectations: 7a-7p, 3p-3a with flexibility.
• Float: Float rotation may be required to Springfield Healthplex location.
• On-call Expectations: None specified.
• Holiday Expectations: Coverage on July 4th (day and evening).
