Registered Nurse / Labor And Delivery Department

Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse opportunity available in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The position involves night shifts with a flexible schedule of 36 to 48 hours per week. The role requires previous experience in a Labor and Delivery environment and a strong focus on obstetrical care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications including ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, and NRP (pending certifications considered acceptable), with at least 2 years of experience in charge nursing, patient ratio management, and charting system familiarity with community hospital standards.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience assisting with high-risk deliveries, labor and delivery procedures, and the use of external fetal monitoring.
• Experience: 2 years of relevant Labor and Delivery experience.
• Patient Ratios: 2 patients during days and nights, 2 during weekends.
• Additional Information: Travelers are expected to float within scope as needed and complete onsite modules during orientation. Labs are expected to be completed within 48 business hours of contract start.
