Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Certified Operating Room Technician (Surgical Tech) for a short-term assignment at a busy acute care facility located in Olympia, Washington. The role involves supporting a variety of surgical specialties including orthopedics, neuro, thoracic, vascular, GYN, urology, and robotics procedures. The position offers a dynamic environment focused on patient care and surgical excellence.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Evening shifts, 8 hours per shift, Monday through Friday, totaling a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: 2 years of experience, Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Washington State licensing, applicable to the role, with a minimum of 0 years of experience necessary.
- Preferred Qualifications: Surgical experience with various procedures listed, familiarity with EPIC charting system, previous experience in community or trauma level II hospital settings, and relevant certifications such as daVinci & Mako for robotic surgeries.
- Certifications: BLS, Washington License
- Additional Information:
- Pending license is not accepted; all certifications must be current.
- On-call requirement of 4 days per month.
- References: Two professional references covering the past year are required during the compliance process.
- The position involves supporting complex surgeries including abdominal, orthopedic, neurosurgical, and robotic procedures, within a 325-bed short-term acute care hospital.
- The facility supports interdisciplinary care with an emphasis on patient safety and operational excellence.
- Orientation hours and module completion are required prior to start, with the process including self-reported modules in Workramp transcripts.
