Job Summary:
The organization seeks a Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse (RN) for a facility located in Marinette, Wisconsin. The role involves providing patient care within a Level III Trauma Center, primarily focusing on obstetric and gynecological services. The position requires the delivery of exceptional care to antepartum, postpartum, and neonatal patients, supporting the department`s high-quality standards.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Current licensure as an RN, BLS (Basic Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), and FHM (Electronic Fetal Heart Monitoring) certifications; 2+ years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with NSTs (Non-Stress Tests), triage patients, postpartum and newborn assessments, nursery care; familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records; competence in operating IV pumps (Alaris), medication dispensing (Pyxis), and bedside FHM.
  • Floating: May be required to float to inpatient units to act as a sitter or in a certified nursing assistant role.
  • Additional Information: The orientation includes at least one shift to learn unit flow. The team operates with a charge RN providing support, and RN staff may perform blood draws, FHM assessments, and patient care. The unit is equipped with standard medical and nursing equipment, and parking is available in designated areas near the facility.
