Registered Nurse / IV Vascular Access

Job Summary
A healthcare organization in Maine is seeking a qualified Infusion Nurse specializing in Outpatient IV Therapy for an outpatient infusion center. This position involves administering chemotherapy and immunotherapy in an outpatient setting, with a focus on providing high-quality, patient-centered care. The role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment dedicated to patient safety and comfort.

Job Details

• Shift: Monday through Friday, 07:45 AM to 04:30 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Maine RN license; at least 2 years of experience in infusion nursing, including peripheral IV skills, central line care, medication administration, blood transfusions; certification in chemotherapy/immunotherapy (preferred but not required).
• Preferred Qualifications: Chemotherapy/immunotherapy administration experience; ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy certification.
• Additional Information: Position is for an outpatient infusion department with 21 infusion spaces and an average daily census of 46 patients. Candidates must demonstrate strong communication skills, reliability, flexibility, and a team-oriented approach. Dress code includes scrubs other than hospital-issued scrubs. The candidate should be willing to work as part of a team, focus on quality patient care, and be adaptable to shift priorities.
