Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical With Telemetry

Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical with Telemetry at a healthcare facility in Gallatin, Tennessee. This role involves providing quality patient care across all age groups in a 167-bed facility, with an emphasis on adult patients requiring medical-surgical and telemetry services. The position offers an opportunity to work in a Level III Trauma Center environment with a focus on clinical excellence and patient safety.

Job Details:

• Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift, with a weekly minimum of 36 hours
• Required Qualifications: RN license in Tennessee, ACLS, BLS, NIH certification, 1+ year of MS/Tele experience, IV insertion skills, located at least 60 miles from the facility
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with common diagnoses and treatments relevant to medical-surgical and telemetry units
• Float: Float rotation may be required to similar med/surg units
• Additional Information: Orientation is held weekly on Mondays. All clinical staff must undergo Tennessee Abuse Registry checks prior to start date. The unit uses Meditech electronic health record system and Omnicell medication dispensing equipment.
