Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse inOsage Beach, Missouri. This position involves providing comprehensive labor, postpartum, and nursery care in a Level II Family Birth Center with a 10-bed LDRP unit and a Level II nursery. The role requires clinical expertise in both maternal and neonatal patient management, with an emphasis on delivering high-quality patient care during night shifts.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), minimum of 3 shifts per week, 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: At least 2 years of experience in labor, postpartum, and nursery care; certifications include ACLS, BLS, and NRP
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cross-training in Labor and Delivery, Newborn Nursery, Level II Nursery, and circulating C-Sections is preferred
• Float: Not applicable
• Additional Information: The role requires a proactive approach to patient care in a busy, high-volume environment with 50-65 deliveries per month. Scrub colors are hospital-provided OR green, and a minimum of three 12-hour shifts per week is required, with weekend rotations every other week. Emergency certifications and cross-training are essential for success in this role.
