Emergency Medical Technician / Paramedic

Job Summary:
Paramedic position available in Wausau, Wisconsin. This position involves providing both basic and advanced life support treatment, care, and evaluation of patients across varied shifts. The role requires on-the-spot assessment, documentation, and collaboration with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Shift: Rotating, varied shifts including all times of day and night
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Wisconsin Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Paramedic Certification, Michigan Paramedic Certification (or eligible for reciprocity), active drivers license in good standing, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS), American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Preferred Qualifications: Minimum of one year paramedic experience, with three or more years preferred, including interfacility transfer experience.
• Additional Details: The candidate must have completed a high school diploma or GED and successfully completed an EMS paramedic program. The role involves working in a team oriented environment with flexibility to float to other locations as needed. Charting system utilized is the Zoll EMS Charts platform with training provided.
• Schedule: The shift hours are 12 hours with a minimum of 48 hours per week; shifts are varied, including night, weekend, and holiday hours as needed.
• On-call and holiday rotations are required; candidates must be available for occasional weekend work and holiday coverage.
