Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit Neurological (ICU NEURO) nurse position in Somerset, Kentucky. This role involves providing specialized critical care for neurological patients in a 305-bed acute care facility. The position offers nightly shifts and is ideal for healthcare professionals with basic experience in acute care settings seeking to advance their skills within a reputable hospital environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, 7:00 p.m. 7:00 a.m., minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid certifications including PALS and NIHSS are mandatory prior to start. Candidates must have 1-2 years of experience in an acute care facility.
- Preferred Qualifications: Additional neurological care certifications or experience in complex patient management are advantageous.
- Additional Information: Orientation is scheduled weekly on Mondays, and candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be considered. The role involves working within a high-acuity ICU environment, managing adult neurological patients, and adhering to hospital dress code and safety protocols.
