Registered Nurse / Telemetry

Job Summary:
Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) position in Nashville, Tennessee. This role involves caring for patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring, with responsibilities including reading telemetry strips and managing arrhythmias. The assignment requires flexibility for floating within the scope of practice and adherence to specific clinical competencies.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certfications in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA), Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification (or MAB), and Neuroscience Intensive Stroke Scale (NIHSS). Must be able to read telemetry strips. Tested prior to orientation on arrhythmia readings and heparin distribution; failure to pass will lead to contract cancellation.
• Additional Information: Must pass clinical testing prior to assignment commencement. Facility can cancel one shift every four weeks during the contract. Floating within the scope of practice is required. Compliance clearance must be completed 10 days prior to orientation. Position involves no call-outs exceeding three; excessive call-outs may result in termination of the contract. Charge or preceptor responsibilities may be required and reflected on the healthcare professional`s timesheet.
