Endoscopy Tech / Gastroenterology Laboratory

Job Summary:
Gastroenterology Laboratory Specialist in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. This position involves assisting nursing staff and physicians during endoscopic procedures, managing equipment, disinfecting endoscopes, troubleshooting, and preparing rooms for various complex cases. The role requires highly experienced endoscopy technicians capable of supporting high-level procedures within a specialized department.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shifts with 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week, starting from 08/11/2026
• Required Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent; BLS certification through the American Heart Association; registration with Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) as a Surgical Technologist in Colorado; Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates (SGNA) Associates Program and/or Advanced Associates Program; current IAHCSMM Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER) Certification; two years of endoscopy experience with advanced case endoscopy experience; must be highly experienced and capable of assisting with complex procedures.
• Additional Information: Applicants must reside at least 75 miles away from the facility. Agency submissions should include a resume, CO DORA Surgical Technologist registration, AHA BLS certification, and CER certification. Out-of-state agencies should register with the Colorado Credentialing Unit and use the correct address details. Please ensure the accuracy of SS# and DOB in Medefis to prevent onboarding issues.
