Registered Nurse / Operating Room Open Heart

Job Summary:
The operating room registered nurse (RN) specializing in Open Heart (OR OH) procedures is based in Wenatchee, Washington. This role involves providing high-quality cardiac and general surgical nursing care within a collaborative healthcare environment. The position requires a dedicated professional to deliver compassionate patient care and support surgical teams during complex procedures.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week, starting 08/10/2026
• Required Qualifications:
  • Must hold a Washington State or Compact RN license
  • Cardiac Operating Room (OR OH) experience, general Operating Room (OR) experience, and Cardiac Surgery experience in addition to Certified Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) background
  • Active Basic Life Support (BLS) & Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
  • Must adhere to facility policies, unit standards, and the Washington Nurse Practice Act, keeping current with legal and clinical guidelines
  • May be required to float as a sitter and in rotation, and to take call responsibilities
• Responsibilities include coordinating and delivering patient-centered care, developing and reassessing patient care plans, administering medications and treatments, conducting assessments, documenting care, and collaborating with the healthcare team. The RN will also educate patients and families, delegate tasks appropriately, and participate in performance improvement activities.
• Additional Information: This position involves working in a fast-paced surgical environment with a focus on cardiac procedures, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and compliance with all operational standards.
