Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical Orthopedic Floor

Job Summary:
The hospital in Gallatin, Tennessee is seeking a registered nurse (RN) specialized in Medical Surgical Orthopedic care for a night shift position. The role involves providing high-quality patient care on a unit that treats geriatric, adult, and pediatric patients (13 and older). The position is part of a fast-paced, trauma-level healthcare environment requiring teamwork, dedication, and compassionate service.

Job Details:

• Location: 555 Hartsville Pike, Gallatin, TN 37066
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: RN license in Tennessee; Certifications including ACLS, BLS, PALS; 1+ years of clinical experience; Ability to work in the specified geographic location
• Preferred Qualifications: Good assessment skills; Experience with post-operative joints, bariatric surgery, trauma, and post-op care
• Unit Information:
  • Department: Medical Surgical Orthopedic Floor
  • Number of Beds: 23
  • Patient Ratios: 4-6 patients per nurse
  • Level III Trauma Center status
  • Electronic Health Record system: Meditech
• Additional Information:
  • No call requirements
  • Professional attire: Scrubs (any color, T-shirts must include hospital logo); no acrylic nails
  • Must be willing to float as needed during the assignment
  • Orientation is weekly, on Mondays
