Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical Floor

Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical Floor located in Wilson, North Carolina. This position involves providing care to adult and geriatric patient populations on a busy medical surgical unit. The role requires delivering clinical excellence within a family-oriented environment, following facility standards and policies to support patient recovery and well-being.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shift times, with a minimum of 36 hours per week scheduled.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, Associates Degree in Nursing, BLS certification, 2 years of experience in medical-surgical nursing, and candidates must be able to schedule to fit facility needs.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Meditech electronic health record system and knowledge of surgical, psychiatric, or pediatric treatments is preferred.
• Float: Float rotation may be required as a second nurse in Telemetry and Emergency Department units.
• Additional Information: The position is located on the 3rd and 5th floors of a 22-bed unit, serving adult and geriatric patients with patient ratios of 6:1 to 7:1. The unit uses telemetry equipment, and additional credentials or licenses beyond those listed are not required.
