Registered Nurse / Operating Room

Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in Ardmore, Oklahoma. This position involves providing specialized surgical nursing care within the OR department on a full-time basis. The role requires supporting surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating effectively with the healthcare team during night shifts.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 3x12, 1900-0700, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid BLS certification from the American Heart Association; 0+ years of experience in surgical or operating room nursing; located in Oklahoma or willing to relocate to Ardmore, OK
• Preferred Qualifications: ACLS certification from the American Heart Association; experience with surgical patient care, including orthopedic, urological, and gastrointestinal procedures; friendly, outgoing, team-oriented personality; flexible and adaptable team player; scrub color: black
• Float: Float to other med/surg departments as needed, if applicable
• Additional Information: Flu vaccination required for all travelers from November 1-April 1 (declinations/exceptions not accepted). The position involves working with surgical patients and med/surg overflow, with a patient ratio of approximately 1:6. Equipment includes remote telemonitoring by ICU, and the EMR system used is EPIC.
