Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical Float Position

Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Medical Surgical Float Nurse in Albany, New York. This role involves providing versatile clinical support across various medical-surgical units within a large healthcare facility. The position offers opportunities for professional growth through flexible assignments and diverse patient care responsibilities.

Job Details:

• Shift: Days, 12 hours
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week, minimum of 36 hours
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, minimum of 1 year of clinical experience at a facility with over 600 beds, with current competency testing if applicable
• Preferred Qualifications: Epic electronic health record experience, competency test completion within 24 hours of submission, and passing competency score
• Additional Information: The position is a float role requiring adaptability to different units within the medical-surgical department. Candidates must be willing to float and follow facility dress code and dress code guidelines. The start date is scheduled for 08/24/2026.
