Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical Floor

Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical (MS) on a Rehabilitation unit located in Pasco, Washington. The role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with a focus on rehabilitation, orthopedic, neurological, cardiovascular, stroke, amputations, and traumatic brain injuries. The position offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to patient recovery and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), at least 1 year of acute care nursing experience, and eligibility to work in the United States.
• Preferred Qualifications: Rehabilitation experience including documentation GG scoring.
• Float: Float rotation may be required to accommodate staffing needs.
• Additional Information:
  • Patient Population: Adult, geriatric, orthopedic, neurologic, cardiovascular, stroke, amputations, traumatic brain injuries.
  • Unit Details: Rehabilitation unit with 10 beds and patient ratios of 5:1.
  • Equipment: Omnicell medication dispensing system.
  • Electronic Health Record (EHR): Meditech.
  • Location Address: 520 North 4th Avenue, Pasco, WA 99301.
  • Orientation Schedule: January 5 and 19, February 9 and 23, March 9 and 23, April 13 and 27, May 11 and 26, June 8 and 22, July 6 and 20, August 3 and 17, September 14 and 28, October 12 and 26, November 9 and 23, December 7 and 21.
