Registered Nurse / Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse Gardner, MA. This position involves providing high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced emergency department setting. The role requires assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care to ensure safety, comfort, and optimal outcomes for diverse patient populations. The nurse will collaborate with the healthcare team, document thoroughly, and prioritize patient needs effectively.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certificate or license as a Registered Nurse, current Massachusetts license, critical care experience preferred, BLS certification, and must obtain ACLS within 60 days of hire. PALS, TNCC, ENPC, and CEN certifications are preferred.
• Additional Information: Responsible for initial patient assessments, managing complex clinical situations including medication administration, airway management, cardiac monitoring, and trauma protocols. Must be able to identify and respond to emergency situations promptly and accurately. The role involves rigorous documentation, safety protocols adherence, and active participation in disaster and safety policy procedures. Candidates should demonstrate strong critical thinking, quick decision-making skills, and a calm demeanor under pressure.
