Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical Floor

Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor (MS) in Sioux City, Iowa, is seeking a qualified healthcare professional for night shift assignments. The position involves working as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care across local campuses. The role offers the opportunity to float within the same discipline and requires adaptability to a fast-paced clinical environment.

Job Details

• Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Start Date: 08/17/2026
• Required Qualifications: First-time traveler OK; at least 2 years of med surg previous experience; Iowa state license; CPR certification (BLS - American Heart Association); Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience; drivers license; work history/resume; skills checklist completed within 1 year; license verification; copy of required certifications; supervisory reference at the time of submission
• Preferred Qualifications: Heparin dip experience; experience working during holidays; ability to work 1-2 of 3 summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)
• Additional Information: The traveler should have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility, except in Madison where local candidates with a 10% rate reduction are accepted.
• Note: Candidates may float within the same discipline across local campuses. The position is subject to orientation scheduled for 6/8 and 6/21.
