Operating Room Tech / Certified Operating Room Tech

Job Summary:
Operating Room Technician (ORT) in Jackson, Michigan. This position involves assisting surgical teams during general surgical procedures by handling instruments, supplies, and equipment. The role requires understanding the specific surgical procedures and anticipating the needs of the surgical team, as well as supporting patient preparation, transport, and safety needs. The technician responds to emergent situations according to established protocols.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 3x12s shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM; Minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: - Minimum of 1 year of strong recent Surgical Technology (ST) experience. - Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA). - Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification. - Previous travel experience. - High School diploma or GED equivalent.
