Registered Nurse / Emergency Room

Job Summary
Emergency Room Nurse FALL RIVER MILLS, California. This position involves providing high-quality nursing care in a critical access hospital`s emergency department. The nurse will assess and treat a wide spectrum of medical conditions, injuries, and maladies, ensuring prompt and effective patient care in a fast-paced environment. The role requires the ability to multitask efficiently, make quick assessments, and collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver exceptional service.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; current licensure in good standing in the state of California; ACLS, PALS, and CPR certifications; NRP and TNCC required within one year of hire; 1 year experience as an Emergency Department nurse preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Emergency Room nursing; additional certifications relevant to emergency care are a plus.
• Additional Information: The nurse will conduct individualized patient assessments, develop care plans, perform treatments such as blood draws, IV starts, and EKGs, and provide patient and family education. Must initiate emergency resuscitative measures as needed, document accurately, and adhere to safety and infection control standards. The position requires willingness to work beyond normal hours and perform duties effectively in a small hospital setting.
