Job Summary
San Jose, California The organization is seeking a licensed Social Worker to provide mental health services in a clinical setting. This position involves facilitating psychotherapy and psychosocial groups, documenting patient progress, and participating in treatment planning. The role requires adherence to clinical guidelines and a commitment to patient safety and well-being.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shift, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Must be licensed in California as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). Candidates must have a Master`s degree in a related field, be 2 years out from graduation from a master`s program, and hold BLS certification.
• Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, experience running psychotherapy groups, or skills groups.
• Additional Information: The role involves facilitating psychotherapy and skills groups, documenting in electronic medical records using Meditech, conducting psychosocial assessments, updating Treatment Plans, participating in the treatment team, performing discharge planning, and safety assessments as needed. Candidates must be able to adhere to business casual dress code and unit policies.
